‘The Garfield Movie’
Garfield is a loveable ginger tabby cat that enjoys eating lasagne and sleeping. Garfield hates Mondays and any form of exercise. He is sarcastic, lazy and greedy.
Right, now you know all you need to know about Garfield, let’s tell you a little bit about The Garfield Movie – set to be released in May 2024.
The film follows Garfield, who is voiced by Chris Pratt, and it takes us back to how it all began.
In the movie we meet Garfield’s biological father and find out how Garfield found his love for lasagne, the couch, and how he met Jon Arbuckle.
‘It Ends With Us’
If there is one book that you would have seen on your social media feeds in the past six months, I am 99% sure that it was ‘It Ends With Us’ by Colleen Hoover.
It Ends With Us follows a redheaded protagonist, Lily Bloom, through her life as a new college student. It’s a romance, but it has a twist that leaves every reader hooked and wanting more.
As the paparazzi may have already exposed, in the film adaptation of It Ends With Us, set to hit theatres in June 2024, Lily Bloom is played by Blake Lively, with a gorgeously bright red hair shade.

‘Despicable Me 4’
Gru’s wife, Lucy Wilde, is probably one of the most iconic redheads to appear in any family-genre movie – apart from Princess Merida in Disney’s Brave!
Let us refresh your memory. Lucy Wilde, whose voice is played by Kristen Wiig, is a goofy agent and part of the Anti-Villain League who fell for Gru when they were hunting a thief in Despicable Me 2.
Despicable Me 4, set for release in July 2024, will reunite you with Gru, his daughters, Lucy Wilde, and the Minions of course.
Not only that, but the newlyweds have had a baby – a redheaded baby, no less!
‘Night Swim’
If you are a fan of redheads and horror movies, this one is for you.
Released in cinemas on 5 January 2024, Night Swim follows a suburban family who find out that their pool is terrorised and haunted by an evil spirit at nighttime.
Yes, it’s a classic movie that starts with a family-of-four and their grand new home. Having been forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness, for former baseballer Ray Waller, who boasts a grand ginger beard, this is the last thing he needs.
The two starring redheads are father-and-son Ray Waller and Elliot Waller, played by Wyatt Russell and Gavin Warren.
‘Challengers’
If her award-winning performances in Dune and Euphoria weren’t enough, Zendaya is back on our cinema screens on 26 April 2024.
Challengers follows Tashi, a former tennis player who was forced to become a tennis coach following an injury.
Tashi has since used her skills to transform her redheaded husband, Art Donaldson, played by Mike Faist, into an internationally recognised and grand slam tennis champion.
After a shocking losing streak, Art finds himself across the net from his ex-best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend, Patrick (played by The Crown’s Josh O’Connor).
