Photography: Freckles
Common on most gingers, freckles are small accumulations of melanin (pigment) giving the skin a slightly darker colour. It’s basically our version of what the rest of the world call ‘tan’, we just don’t have enough of the stuff to cover us!
But redheads are the lucky ones, because freckles are super stylish these days. In the fashion world, freckles are actually painted on to models because of their cuteness.
Freckles are summery, playful and sexy, so let’s be thankful we have them!
