Red Head Celebration Day on the Hellerick’s Family Farm – 5 November 2023

It is always great to hear about any redhead event, but this one is particularly special because it takes place… on a farm!
Yes, that’s right. This Red Head Celebration Day is located on the Hellerick’s Family Farm in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

The Hellerick’s Family Farm has been passed down through four generations since 1794 and is currently celebrating 229 years of farming.
Initially, the farm was owned by the ‘Shelly’ family and was considered a traditional Pennsylvania Dutch Farm as it had a farmhouse built from stone cleared from the fields. In 1794, 229 years ago, the farm also had a large barn, dairy cows, pigs, chickens, orchards, field corn, hay fields, small fruits, vegetables, and a flower patch.

The Hellerick’s Family Farm not only boasts a Red Head Celebration Day, but you can also travel to the farm to pick your own flowers, hunt your own raspberries and gooseberries, and participate in goat yoga!
There is also ‘The Farm Obstacle Course’, a ‘Goat Experience’, and a new and improved ‘Silo Climbing Wall’ available to all visitors.

BUT, here comes the most important part…
Considering most of the Hellerick Family are redheads, the farm was not the only inheritance passed down through four generations!
Being a family of gingerness, they decided to create their own Red Head Celebration Day to celebrate the beauty of the less than 2 per cent club.

The Hellerick’s Family Farm Red Head Celebration Day takes place on Sunday 5 November, and guests can arrive at any time between 1 and 6pm.
On the farm, you will be greeted by a photoshoot on the ‘Orange Carpet’, live music, sunflower fields, contests, giveaways, drinks, and most importantly – food.
Tickets cost $19.99, which includes access to the 40 family-friendly activities in the ‘Adventure Farm’ area, and admission to the Sunflower Days. Children under 3 go for free.
