Christina Hendricks: Redheads Get Nods

Christina Hendricks’ character Joan Holloway in Mad Men is the epitome of feistiness, sensuality, and confidence; like every redhead.

And, ahead of this year’s Emmy nominations, Mad Men has made sure that we all know how wonderful she is, just in case we’ve forgotten (we haven’t).

In a series of retro-styled adverts, AMC subtly markets the show’s characters as great choices for an Emmy nod.

Christina appears wearing head-to-toe red clothing, standing in front of a lavish red curtain, with the tagline:

Blondes have more fun. But redheads get nods.

You can say that again.
