Halloween costumes for redheads: Mystique, ‘X-Men’
Pretending to be someone else is the greatest appeal of dressing up for Halloween. And X-Men‘s Mystique has to be the furthest you can get from reality, right? She has yellow eyes and blue skin, and is an actual mutant shapeshifter.
In fact, her fiery red hair is probably her most human quality.
So when it comes to dressing up as Mystique for Halloween, at least you’ve got the ginger hair down. Now for the rest of the costume…
Blue, blue, and more blue
Aside from the gingerness, you want to be head to toe cobalt blue, with your clothing as tight-fitting as is comfortable. Don’t forget socks and gloves!
Or if you’d prefer to cut the corners you can get a ready-made Mystique suit costume from the likes of eBay and Amazon.
Make-up
Again, think blue. Get yourself some cobalt blue face paint and apply to all of your un-blue skin.

Your red hair? Easy. While your hair is wet, use some gel and a comb to pull it back and away from your face so that it dries in that style. If necessary, straighten the hair so it sleeks back and forms a flick under your ears.
