Ally

A natural redhead fleeing the Big Smoke for the seasidey shores of Suffolk, Ally has grown to accept sun lotion as a permanent fixture in her life. She believes tea is the answer to most problems and spends her spare time writing. She has a wild imagination and loves creating YA urban fantasy novels featuring mermaids, magic and romance. The only thing Ally loves more than writing (and tea) is spending time with her young family.

Becky

This music, cheese and cat-lover joins the GP team not as a ginger herself but as mum to two ginger boys.Following a misspent youth memorising musicals lyrics, Becky worked as a journalist and PR in London before moving to Kent where she now lives with her ginger-ish husband and absolutely gingerful rugrats.Becky spends most days running her offspring like puppies at National Trust properties and most evenings recovering with her crochet, The Walking Dead and a glass of Baileys.Other passions include cookbooks and scooping eleventy billion tiny pieces of LEGO back into their box every night.

Danielle

Ginger Parrot is ready and raring to report on all things nice and gingerful, and provides an online store too, offering Ginger Parrot merchandise, clothing, hair products, gifts and more for the redhead and redhead lover community.

Emily

This chicken nugget and lollipop lover (not together, ick) comes to us from Michigan, USA.Aside from studying Communications, Emily is a plus size model, but she still finds time to overdose on celebrity gossip in between.Emily will be applying her incessant wit and sarcasm skills to all-round redhead-friendly subjects, with motivational confectionary in hand (and mouth).

Emma

Emma Kelly is the Editor & Founder of Ginger Parrot. She dresses herself in mismatched multi-seasonal clothing and has a talent for sniffing out the next opportunity for coffee. She believes that any new band with a female musician is the next big thing and that whoever is currently dating Ryan Gosling is the luckiest lady on earth. Her biggest obsession is shopping online for castles, (probably) fueled by childish fantasies of finding her prince and settling down for a life of luxury, bathing in a pool of gin and bitter lemon. Other than that, though, she’ll be incessantly researching the latest gingerful news to deliver to Gingerkind.

Lizzie

Lizzie, despite being a non-ginger (besides her genes), loves redheads and her freshly dyed red hair. She also loves political satire, vintage fairs, Yorkshire Tea and people with the surname ‘Weasley’. One day, she hopes to be opening letters addressed to Mrs. L. Cumberbatch, but until then she’ll be travelling for long periods of time in campervans and attending every music festival she comes across. And if Caitlin Moran is ever up for Prime Minister, she will get Lizzie’s vote, no problem.

Lucie

Lucie is an art, music and ginger-hair-loving freelancer who will happily discuss the science behind your hair with people's retreating backs anytime. She spends her days writing, making things, scouring Etsy for accessories and anxiously awaiting the new series of Broad City. This nearly 30-something tries to schedule in at least one walk a day, in case her hips seize up. Her hair is somewhere between brown and ginger, so she optimistically thinks of herself as a redhead, and (rather thankfully) has the skin and eyebrows to back it up.

Molly

Molly comes to us all the way from sunny California, U.S.A.! Making home movies with friends at an early age has led Molly to become a Film and TV fanatic. You can catch her yelling angrily at horror movie victims, or rewatching one of her faves, LoTR, for the 400th time.Nicknamed ‘The Mollinator’, this redhead lives for positivity, and is sure there is a correlation between her love for life and her daily coffee intake. She may have an unnatural fear of escalators, but her biggest ginger accomplishment was being called Merida by every child while working at Disney World. On a regular day, Molly can be found passionately reblogging adorable kitten gifs (ginger ones, OBVS), or staring at the ocean for the existence of mermaids and the Loch Ness monster.
