Coming Soon: ‘On Chesil Beach’
We have a new addition to Team Ginger – please give a friendly redhead welcome to Saiorse Ronan!
Saiorse already sported a bright shade of red hair for her role in recent award-winning Ladybird, but this is the first time she has donned a natural-looking ginger tone (she’ll also be ginger in upcoming Mary Queen of Scots). And we must say, it suits her rather well, most specifically thanks to her Irish complexion!
Saiorse has come over to the ginger side for her role in On Chesil Beach, based on Ian McEwan’s 2007 novella of the same name. Set in the 1960s, the romantic tale follows two newlyweds, Florence (Saiorse Ronan) and Edward (Billy Howle), who are from differing backgrounds, and the societal pressures of intimacy they face at the start of their marriage.
On Chesil Beach is definitely one for the romantics, and is out in cinemas on 18 May 2018. Check out the trailer below!
