Coming soon: ‘The 355’ starring Jessica Chastain

Fans of kick-ass redhead Jessica Chastain can rejoice as her latest role literally does just that. Kicks ass.

Working for the CIA, J-Chassy teams up with four rival agents from other countries (played by Penélope Cruz, Lupita Nyong’o, Diane Kruger and Fan Bingbing) to fight against a new enemy that threatens a world war.

Why The 355, you ask? Well, as Jessica told Empire, “355 was the code name for the first female spy during the [American] revolution.

“No one knows what her name is: all that we know about her is that she was ‘355’. So women today use that 355 moniker as a badge of honour, and a reminder that there are people doing the work behind the scenes that aren’t recognised. And they need to be valued.”

As well as acting in The 355, Chastain also co-produces the film, under her awesomely named production company Freckle Films!
