Coming Soon: ‘Kingsman, The Golden Circle’, Starring Julianne Moore
In film and TV, redheads are no strangers to playing villains. And Julianne Moore is no different, as she plays ex-criminal Poppy Adams (such an apt name for someone with red hair) in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. In the movie, the former crime lord is exiled to live in her own personal theme park, Poppyland, in Cambodia.
Dressed all in red (which is absolute perfection), the natural ginger is the epitome of style combined with danger. The Academy Award winner remarked on her character: “No matter how outrageous her antics are, they’re normal in her world. She’s the only character in her world, so she doesn’t know. She’s a megalomaniac in the way that all great villains are.”
It’s a star-studded cast all-round, with the likes of Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Colin Firth and Halle Berry (who plays a character called Ginger Ale, by the way!) joining Julianne on-screen.
