After nine loooong months of waiting, we’ve finally been given a sneak peek into what scandals and thrills await us in season seven of Mad Men.
Yes, my gingerful friends, the glamourous teaser stills have once again been released, conjuring many conspiracies as to what will become of Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce and its employees this season. Obviously, we’re mostly concerned with the vivacious redheaded Joan Holloway, played by Christina Hendricks.
We were, as usual, left on a cliffhanger at the end of season six, as *spoiler alert* some hope was restored for Don Draper (John Hamm) who was just a little off the rails throughout the season.
The final episode ended on high note though, hinting that the troubled protagonist was growing out of his selfish ways and yet again becoming the selfless Don Draper we have come to admire in previous seasons.
As for the fierce and fiery red-haired Joan Holloway, season six really showed off the strenght of advertising company’s only female partner. She is not only the most powerful (and gingerlicious) woman in the office, but is also raising a child as a single mother.
Christina Hendricks looks absolutely stunning in the new promo photos, which are each set at a mysterious airport. Hendricks is pictured exiting a plane with her vibrant locks up in a traditional 60s’ beehive ‘do and a stylish pink dress – looking fabulous, as usual.

Season seven is the final season of Mad Men EVER and is to contain 14 episodes which will be split in two, meaning episodes 1-7 will air in Spring 2014 and episodes 8-14 in Spring 2015.
This means we have one last year to soak up the feisty dyeing redhead Joan Holloway in all her ginger awesomeness before we are left to cry over our box sets and record every old re-run we see….or is that just me?
Mad Men will return to AMC in the US on 13th April and to Sky Atlantic in the UK on 16th April.
