Kiss A Ginger Day – 12th January 2017
To shun any ideas of ‘Kick A Ginger Day’ (thanks, South Park), Kiss A Ginger Day was born, to celebrate redheads and allow the rest of humankind spend all day wanting to be just like them.
Ginger Pride Belfast – Belfast, Northern Ireland – 11th February 2017
With an aim “to raise awareness as well as have a bit of a laugh”, Belfast’s first ever Ginger Pride event will take place at the city centre’s Aether & Echo. On the bill for the day is food, drink and entertainment, with freebies and discounts for redheads available.

Ginger Pride Walk – Rome, Georgia, USA – TBC
Armed with sunscreen and souls, dozens of redheads march through Rome’s city centre in Georgia, waving flags of gingerful shades and brandishing signs of pride for their red hair.
Ginger Pride Rally – Melbourne, Australia – 29th April 2017
Established by Buderim Ginger and supported by R.A.N.G.A. (Red And Nearly Ginger Association), 2017’s Ginger Pride Rally will once again feature ginger beer sampling, beer pong and live music.
Redhead Event – Portland, USA – TBC
Aaaalmost breaking Redhead Days’ world record in 2013, the Redhead Event still reels in gingers aplenty in the centre of Portland.
RossItalia – Milan, Italy – TBC
Taking place in May since 2012, the glamorous surrounds of Milan set the backdrop for redheads to gather, mingle and celebrate their ginger hair, all wearing white.
Redhead Days Chicago – Chicago, USA – 10th-11th June 2017
Redhead Days Chicago is an affiliate of the world-renowned Redhead Days event in Breda, Netherlands. And with 2017’s event only being the third of its kind, the weekend’s visitor count is expected to hit the 3,000 mark!
Gingers: The Gathering – Plymouth, UK – August 2017 (exact date TBC)
Inspired by other redhead events around the world, the second Gingers: The Gathering is all about spreading ginger pride in the South West of England. It’s all in the name of fun!
Irish Redhead Convention – Crosshaven, Ireland
Since 2010 the Irish Redhead Convention has been rocking all redhead events that rock. Sadly their full 2017 weekend-long event has been cancelled, with hopes to return in 2018. But, if redheads still wish to travel to Crosshaven to celebrate gingerness, there will be an informal gathering at Cronin’s Pub to have a good old knees up.
Previous Irish Redhead Conventions raised money for the Irish Cancer Society, with activities including carrot tossing, a redhead parade, live music and an award for the best-dressed redhead.
The Redhead Days – Breda, The Netherlands – 1st-4th September 2017
This ginger weekend kicks off on a Friday and provides festivities all the way through till Sunday. Currently holding the world record for the largest number of natural redheads in one place, ‘Roodharigendag’ hopes to break the record once again this summer.
Dunbar WV Redhead Festival – Dunbar, West Virginia, USA – September 2017 (exact date TBC)
Attracting more than 800 in its first year in 2016, the Dunbar Redhead Festival in West Virginia is sure to kick up a gingerful storm in 2017, too!
National Meeting of Natural Redheads – Florianópolis, Brazil – 9th September 2017
Dressed up to their eyeballs in red clothing, redheads galore will meet for two whole days of sharing their ginger experiences. Last year’s event welcomed hundreds of attendees, with expectations of higher numbers this year for the sixth annual National Meeting of Natural Redheads!
Redhead Day UK – London, UK – next event taking place May 2018
Redhead Day UK is a gingertastic all-day event taking place in London. The mission is simple: celebrate red hair and everything that makes gingers unique. The next Redhead Day UK event will be in May 2018, with Team RHDUK promising to make the event bigger, better and more ginger!
