Hair Tutorial: Cute, Quick and Easy Hair Jewellery Up Dos For Redheads

As beautiful as red hair is, sometimes it would be real nice if it was easy to style. I mean, not much can make ginger hair look bad (humidity, I’m watching you), but the ability to create quick and effortless up dos would be swell.

Worry not, fair redheads! Hair jewellery is a cute and quirky way to style red hair. Take a look at the below styles and products from Lilla Rose, and discover your own styles, too!

Hair clip

Freestyle tiara1

From $11

How to use the Flexi Clip:

There are so many styles to use the Flexi Clip for! Open the Flexi Clip and wrap around your section of hair. Feed the hook around and through the fastening, tightening if needed.

Used above is the medium size, but there are other sizes too, depending on your hair length, thickness, and desired style.

Hair sticks

Amber stick

Single stick $8, two sticks $15

How to use hair sticks:

For a simple bun, gather your hair at the back of your head, like a ponytail. Then, twist the section continually until it twists around itself into a bun.

Take on of the hair sticks and push up and out of the bun and change direction to come through the bun completely. Repeat on the other side.

Garden parade

From $24

How to use the beaded hairband:

Place the decorative part of the hairband on the top of your head, with the stretchy material at the back.

Starting at the sides of your head, start to fold over your hair and tuck into itself, hiding the band. Continue all the way around, and if necessary, secure with the pins at the end. The decorative part of the hairband will still be showing at the top of your head. Quick, easy and beautiful.
