In winter 2013, we joyfully welcomed a new Disney princess onto our screens and into our hearts (and a red-haired one at that)…Princess Anna of Arendelle.
Whether it’s because of her loving nature, her sense of adventure or her gorgeous ginger hair, we instantly fell in love with the princess.
I don’t know about you, but I take any excuse to belt out a chorus of ‘Love is an Open Door’ from the movie, so why not start the festivities early this winter and become Princess Anna for Halloween?
Here’s your step-by-step, item-by-item guide for redheads to create an Anna Halloween costume…
A blue maxi-skirt is the perfect start to your Anna costume, so pull out all of your summer gear and dig out that old maxi-skirt.
Don’t have one in your summer storage? Not to worry! This blue maxi-skirt is available from Forever 21 for £18.75.

The next item you need for your Anna costume is a black crop top – again, maybe you can dig this out of your summer ‘drobe. If not, these crop tops are available from Topshop for £22 and House of CB for £60.
Top off your outfit simply add a pink/purple cropped cardigan, like this one from Amazon from $12.99.
Finish off the look with a pair of boots and you’ll be good to go!
For hair, simply plait your red hair to both sides.
Top tip: if you want to go all out and include the white streak, use some dry shampoo to spray a section of your hair white and don’t rub in before proceeding to plait.
